Tara & James - December Wedding
The proposal happened by accident. "James had bought himself a considerable quantity of diving equipment in the summer sale. When he came home to show me, I was a little upset and wondered why he had not thought about something else to spend his money on! Turned out he had and produced the ring as well!"

Rachel & Nick - May Wedding
Rachel and Nick met at work. They got on like a house on fire, but it wasn't until a year later that they got together - although Rachel tried to maintain that they wouldn't have a relationship because they worked at the same company. "After two Christmas parties spent actively trying to avoid each other, we confessed all after we got engaged! Call me a modern girl, but I went out and picked my ring based on Nick's budget and we went out and bought it together. Nick proposed one Sunday afternoon, at home as he knew I was dying to wear the ring which I loved so much!"

Keren & Mark - August Wedding
Keren and Mark both met through mutual friends. One evening they were out with friends and got talking about skiing. One thing led to another and before they knew it they were on their first date in Chamonix, in the French Alps! Mark proposed to Karen spontaneously while they were at the Dubai World Cup Horse Races in March 2006. He got down on one knee amongst the crowds and said "will you marry me?" Karen said "yes", he then stood up and said - "I haven't called your Dad to ask permission!" and with that he ran off to make the phone call!

Carolyn & Tom - August Wedding
Carolyn and Tom both met at Nice airport. Tom was coming back from the Cannes Film Festival and Carolyn from an event in Nice before boarding an Easyjet flight to London. They sat together on the plane and when they returned to London, met up again and so the story started. Tom proposed on a motorboat trip on the lake, which they'd hired when on holiday in Lake Como.
